Dr. Ulmann undertook his legal studies in England, where he obtained his LLB Law (Hons) degree at the City University of London in 2013, and consequently his LLM degree in International Business Law at the London School of Economics and Political Science in 2014. During his studies, he was awarded the Martin Dockray Scholarship for being the best undergraduate LLB student, as well as the Macfarlanes Contract Law Prize for obtaining the best contract law final exam mark. After completing his studies abroad, Dr. Ulmann successfully passed the conversion exams and became a trainee lawyer in Hungary.
After having completed internships at Allen & Overy, Baker & McKenzie and Weil, Gotshal & Manges in London and Budapest, Dr. Ulmann began his traineeship with Dr. Ákos Menyhei.
Through his work, Dr. Ulmann is regularly involved in devising international tax planning and wealth management structures with particular focus on the establishment, administration and restructuring of trusts of multiple jurisdictions. Over the course of his career, Dr. Ulmann has also gained experience in corporate law, inheritance law, intellectual property law as well as general civil law issues.
Additionally, his foreign legal qualification also enables him to assist clients with their various English law related matters.
Dr. Ulmann is fluent in English, German as well as Hungarian.
